About
I am a multidisciplinary ceramic artist with an eclectic background in costume design, theater production, and event design. After a decade of focusing my creative skills into culture and team experience roles, I returned to my roots as a maker, using ceramic as a medium for storytelling.
My work reflects my nomadic background. As a child born abroad and exposed to global culture, I consider my life experiences as their own medium and weave them into artistic interpretations that unify eras, culture, and material mediums. My intention is to offer a perspective of our reality through a hopeful, sometimes fanciful, lens. By telling stories we protect the foundational themes that span our global culture. The story I feel we have to tell right now is one of responsibility. Responsibility for ourselves and others, for the truth, and for the beautiful creation and preservation of our collective future.
